State police are looking for a man wanted for arson and related offenses for an incident early this morning in Ernest Borough.
Troopers say that they received a 911-hangup call at 2:57 AM for a home in the 300 block of 3rd Street. When they arrived, they found the victim, identified only as an adult female, and found out 37-year-old Steven Marsh of McIntyre had come to her home, kicked in a basement door, and set fire to a couch in the basement. He then put the fire out and left. Police believed that he also sent the victim several threatening text messages.
Troopers searched the area this morning but could not find him.
Marsh is wanted on charges of arson, terroristic threats, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment. Police described him as a white man, 5-feet 11-inches tall, 160 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.
