Two IUP graduates recently gifted the university $31,000 in scholarship funds to aid students studying in the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology.
Dan and Michelle (Costanza) Simoni added the funds to the already existing Wayne Norman Simoni Scholarship, in honor of Dan’s late father, and they also allocated funds to create a new scholarship in honor of Mary Louise Costanza, Michelle’s late mother.
This gift is part of IUP’s $75-million Imagine Unlimited Campaign, which is geared towards enabling IUP to move forward as a leader in transforming a student’s experience.
Dan, who is currently a managing partner with Price Waterhouse, graduated from IUP in 1994 and says that because of IUP, he and Michelle “were blessed with an education that allowed us to have wonderful careers.” He continues to say in a press release that he and Michelle are honored to help current and future students, while honoring his father and Michelle’s mother.
IUP Vice President of University Advancement Khatmeh Osseiran-Hanna said “We appreciate Mr. and Mrs. Simoni’s generosity,” and that this gift will impact the future of hundreds of students.
