Earlier we highlighted the potential for strong winds in thunderstorms on Sunday, but it is likely to be gusty even outside of storms.
Winds are expected to ramp up in the morning, with gusts up to 40-45 mph possible in the afternoon and evening. Higher gusts to 60 mph will be possible in heavier showers and storms.
While Sunday is likely to be the windiest day in the 7 day forecast, breezy conditions may continue into next week with elevated chances to see wind gusts greater than 30mph across the region each day until Wednesday.
