The Indiana County Chamber of Commerce has announced that Steelers Vice President Dan Rooney will be the guest speaker at the group’s annual meeting in December.

Rooney is the Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for the team and is responsible for the team’s football development initiatives designed to engage the next generation of athletes in the sport, especially in international markets like Mexico, Germany and Ireland. He was also instrumental in bringing the 2026 NFL Draft to Pittsburgh, which is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors and millions of viewers. His talk will focus on the draft and the economic impact the event will have throughout Western PA including Indiana County.
The chamber’s annual meeting will be held at the Indiana Country Club on Thursday, December 11th at 3:00 PM with a VIP reception at 2:00 PM. After Rooney’s address, the chamber will also announce the 2026 class of the Chamber’s Business Hall of Fame.
