Today is Pitt’s homecoming as they welcome the Wolfpack of NC State.
One of the key matchups will be the Panthers’ conference-leading run defense against the league’s top rusher, Hollywood Smothers. Coach Pat Narduzzi said that if the defense cannot get penetration to stop him or any other part of the running game, NC State will be tough to beat.
