Hundreds of costumed children enjoyed trick-or-treating at downtown Indiana’s businesses on Saturday morning, and Indiana Borough Police say the IUP volleyball and lacrosse teams had a lot to do with it. Members of both teams wearing bright green vests joined downtown businesses and police to help ensure crosswalk safety at intersections throughout the downtown.
Police say they appreciated the patience of drivers and the attention of the pedestrians.
