IUP placed 12 players on the All-PSAC West football teams, and one of them, senior defensive back Kalen Frazier, is the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year. Other IUP defensive players on the first team are linemen Logan Goodwin and Logan Danielson, and linebackers Nathan Rosario-Santos and Tai’Don Strickland. Making the first team offense were wide receivers Devin Whitlock and Maurice Massey, guard Chance Battle, and tight end Connor Shamany.
On the PSAC second team are IUP’s quarterback, Matthew Rueve, defensive lineman Randy Okungo, and defensive back Noah Johnston.
IUP kicks off on Saturday at one o’clock in the Division II quarterfinals against Assumption on 92.5 FM, U92.
