Aaron Rodgers could be headed for a matchup with a familiar opponent this weekend, but his status is still up in the air.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin says Rodgers, who’s dealing with a left wrist injury, is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. Rodgers was hurt during Pittsburgh’s Week 11 win over Cincinnati. He sat out Wednesday’s practice and was limited the rest of the week.
Tomlin said the decision will come down to the team’s medical staff.
“I’m not a medical expert, and I’m not Aaron,” Tomlin said..”
If Rodgers is able to play, it would mark his first-ever matchup with the Bears as a Steeler rather than a Packer. If he can’t go, Mason Rudolph is expected to get the start.
