Minor damage was reported for a fire this morning in Indiana Borough.

Indiana Fire Association members were sent out at 9:15 this morning to 435 North Seventh Street along with borough police and Citizen’s Ambulance Service. The fire was started by a discarded cigarette in a garbage can. The fire took out the garbage can along with a small part of the exterior wall’s siding and railing. The occupants were able to put the fire out before crews arrived.
No injuries or structural damage were reported.
