Last night, Clymer Borough Council approved the 2026 budget.
The budget contained no changes from what was presented for advertisement last month. The spending plan balances at $641,150. Residents will not see a tax increase.
Council also approved the promotion of John Valenti to the position of fulltime public works supervisor. Borough Manager Sonya Schrenkel said that this was due to the prior director taking a position elsewhere.
The first meeting for Clymer Borough Council in 2026 will be January 5th for a reorganization meeting. The regular business meeting will be on the 14th.
