The Cherryhill Township Fire Department is getting ready to build a new fire station.
The new fire station will be built at 1442 North Harmony Road in the spring and summer of next year, and the fire company is accepting bids for parts of the building project outside of the building’s insulated shell, which will be built by Morton Builders. According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, they are looking for local companies to submit sealed bids for site work, concrete, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, interior build-out, garage doors and attic insulation.
The sub work will be managed through a clerk of the works for the project. The fire department also said that they are not requiring a job performance bond to “be encouraging and less restrictive for all trades big and small to submit bids.”
