At a special meeting on Wednesday, the Blairsville-Saltsburg School Board approved returning students to campus starting next Monday in two different formats.
Elementary students will attend four days a week, with Wednesday being a full remote learning day. High School Students will attend on the hybrid cohort schedule that was in place before. Board President Rick Harper said that it was important that elementary students to get back to in-person classes.
Superintendent Philip Martell said that parents will have the option to use the district’s synchronous learning if parents do not want their children to return to school.
In other business, the board approved a financial services agreement from J. Martin & Associates for business office services through the end of February at a cost not to exceed $3600.
