Motley Crue is scoring a legal victory in their case with former guitarist Mick Mars.
Since retiring in 2022, Mars and the band have been in a legal battle, with the former guitarist claiming Motley Crue was ripping him off financially. Motley Crue claimed Mars was demanding 25-percent of their touring revenue despite no longer being in the group.
In a decision announced yesterday, an independent arbitrator ruled that Mars gave up any right to touring revenue when he quit the band. He was ordered to pay more than 750-thousand-dollars in unrecouped tour advances.
