On Wednesday night, the White Township Supervisors asked Township Manager Milt Lady to draft an agreement with Citizen’s Ambulance for their annual donation.
The township has already agreed to contribute $100,000 to Citizen’s Ambulance as part of the 2021 budget, with an additional $50,000 set aside to match any new money that is contributed by other municipalities on top of their initial donation. Lady said that the agreement would divide the $100,000 over quarterly payments and the ambulance company or other municipalities would have to notify the township on any new money that comes in.
A draft of the agreement will be presented to the supervisors at their next meeting.
In other business, the supervisors approved a resolution concerning changes to policies when it came to executive sessions. Supervisors would leave the room to allow the conference call to remain active while they met for their executive session.
