First responders were up early this morning for a pair of car crashes.
One was reported at 5:08 this morning by Indiana County 911. Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were sent out for a car that hit a utility pole at 8135 Route 217 in Blairsville. That pole was sheared off. REA Energy crews were called to the scene. Initial scanner reports said that the driver was not hurt in the accident. No word on the specific cause. State police were dispatchd as well to investigate.
A crash was also reported on Chambersville Road in Washington Township at 1:51 AM. Creekside and Plumville fire departments were sent out at the time along with Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police.
There was also a reported structure fire yesterday afternoon on John Georges Road in Center Township. Aultman, Homer City, Indiana, Coral-Graceton and Coal Run/McIntyre fire departments were sent out at 1:11 PM. Tunnelton and Iselin/West Lebanon fire departments were called to provide tanker assist a few minutes later.
