TERRY COX, DRUMMER WITH DAVID BOWIE AND ELTON JOHN, DIES AT 89

Terry Cox, a David Bowie and Elton John collaborator, is dead at 89.

The drummer’s bandmates Pentangle confirmed his death, describing the musician as a “drummer of rare instinct and imagination.” A cause of death wasn’t given.

Cox played on Bowie’s “Space Oddity” and John’s “The Greatest Discovery” and “The King Must Die.”
