Sunday turned into a busy day for Indiana County first responders.
The day started at 1:30 PM for utility lines down on Bowdertown Road in Montgomery Township that brought Cherry Tree firefighters.
Two fire companies were called out for a brush fire on Gobblers Run Road in Armstrong Township at 2:04 PM. Elderton fire department were called to the scene first with Iselin dispatched a few minutes later. Details on the brush fire were not released. This marks the 18th brush fire of the year.
A vehicle accident was reported at 4:53 PM on Route 422 East in Pine Township. Pine Township and Cherryhill Township fire departments were sent out.
Indiana Fire Association was sent out for a physical rescue at 7:30 on Sunday. This was on Oakland Avenue in Indiana Borough.
