The Indiana County Commissioners took part in a State of the County Q and A session today hosted by the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce.
Concerns brought up during the session ranged from Covid-19 and the American Rescue Plan to broadband projects the county is working on. County Commissioners chairman Mike Keith said that while the work that will be done this year is good, the project is not going to get to every underserved area because to bring broadband in is expensive.
The Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative was also discussed, with Commissioner Robin Gorman saying that the timing of the initiative is not workable because it does not give enough time to work through the process.
