BMG AND CONCORD UNITE AS NEW MUSIC COMPANY

BMG and Concord are combining their businesses, making them the leading independent music company in the world.

They’ll operate under the name BMG and have a joint management team leading the company. Chief Executive Officer of Concord Bob Valentine will serve as the CEO of the combined company, while Chief Executive officer of BMG Thomas Coesfeld takes on the role of Chairman.

Together, the companies have a diverse roster that includes Jelly Roll, Paul Simon, Lainey Wilson, Denzel Curry, Daddy Yankee, and more.
