United picked up another key win this morning in its first game of two after defeating the Penns Manor Comets, 10-4. The Lions would put the game away early on after a six-run first inning gave them breathing room.
United would add three more over the next two innings and would tally its final run in the fifth. Penns Manor would generate a four-run fourth inning, but that would be all the offense would muster.
Wade Plowman went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in the contest for the Lions, while Bradley Felix added a double to his credit.
Joe Henry and Hunter Cameron combined for six strikeouts and allowed just one run on the mound.
No individual stats were reported for Penns Manor.
