Tuesday night, the White Township Planning Commission approved the final site plan for an expansion for the Walmart on Oakland Avenue.
According to Code Enforcement Officer Jonathan Major, the 3,417 square foot expansion will be for the store’s pickup department.
The commission also granted conditional approval a final site plan for a personal care home from Tulip Family LLC on West Pike Road. The site plan still needs the highway occupancy permit from PennDOT, NPDES Permitting, a finalized stormwater plan, DEP Sewage approval and planning for buffer zones.
Meanwhile the Rustic Ridge development may be approved at the Commission’s meeting in June. Planners with the the 28-unit subdivision has finalized the plan, but they are working on stormwater approvals, and bonding for the public improvements that will be put in place.
