Today is the 40th annual Luther Ford Golf Classic.
The Indiana Country Club will be busy throughout the day with the golf tournament and events. Mario Luther of Luther Ford said that the event has been very popular over the years.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to IRMC’s Women’s Imaging Center to help provide mammography care to the women of Indiana County and the surrounding areas. Last year, over $30,000 was raised to help the cause. The event has helped various causes over the years including MADD and Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Registration is set to begin at 9:30 with the million-dollar shootout at 10, followed by lunch and then the start of the golf tournament at 11:00. A banquet dinner, awards ceremony and silent sports auction will follow.
