Alice Viola (Griffith) Spicher, 77, of Cherry Tree, PA passed way on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Embassy of Hillsdale Park in Hillsdale, PA.
The daughter of John E. and Sara V. (Meckley) Griffith, she was born on July 18, 1948 in Spangler, PA.
Alice was a graduate of the Harmony High School and the Punxsy Beauty School.
She married Gary Lee Spicher on October 27, 1984 and they have shared over forty-one years of marriage together.
She worked for Power Gas Marketing & Transmission of Indiana, PA Exco Company of Cherry Tree, PA and both the Giant Eagle and former Goodwill in Barnesboro, PA.
Alice enjoyed sewing and doing building construction projects around her home.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Gary and her son Chad E. Hallman and his companion Colleen Maison of Masontown, PA; her grandchildren: Amanda Marie and Samantha Jo Hallman and step-granddaughter, Crystle Grosspietsch; her four great-grandchildren: Blake Loquasto, Madison Loquasto, Bryson, and Ella Grosspietsch; her sister, Mary Jane Griffith Seger of DuBois, PA; and her sisters-in-law: Kathy Griffith of Cherry Tree, PA and Susan Coudriet of Clymer, PA.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother George Griffith and her brother John M. Griffith.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. On Friday, May 22, 2026 a funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Tim Bash. Interment will be at the Hazelet Cemetery near Cherry Tree, PA.
