ROSTERS ANNOUNCED FOR MAVERICK BAKER BASEBALL ALL-STAR SHOWCASE

The Altoona Curve have announced the return of the Maverick Baker Baseball All-Star Showcase, at Peoples Natural Gas Field for a third year, on Saturday, June 6^th.  The event will features the region’s top graduating seniors for a nine-inning all-star game.

Thirty-eight players from thirty-one high schools will participate, split into Team East and Team West.  A home run derby will kick off the day at 3:30 with the game scheduled for 6.

The game benefits Maverick’s Mission, which was established in honor of the Northern Cambria student/athlete who died from suicide in 2022.

Area players from Northern Cambria, Homer-Center, Marion Center, West Shamokin, and Cambria Heights will be playing.
