A hearing will be held in Indiana County Court today concerning two vacancies for Green Township’s Board of Supervisors.
Mike Wilson and Gene Scott resigned from their positions earlier this year for personal reasons. With only one other supervisor on the board, the township government has been limited on what it is able to do. The Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors said that the township has been allowed to pay recurring bills and normal payroll, and crews have been able to perform bare minimum road maintenance with materials that they already had, but they could purchase any more.
The hearing is scheduled for this morning in front of Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco.
