Both Indiana and Homer-Center dominated their opponents in the PIAA quarterfinals yesterday, and both move on to the state semifinals.
Indiana kept a remarkable shutout stretch alive and did it in style as they seek to win a second straight Quad-A state championship.

The site and time for Monday’s game against Archbishop Wood have not been determined. The Vikings were the number two team coming out of District 12, in the Philadelphia area. The other semifinal on Monday will be a matchup between District 1 champ Holy Ghost Prep and District 4 champion Montoursville, the school Indiana beat for the state title last year.
The quarterfinal game for Homer-Center was bizarre, a route of epic stature…and the Wildcats are in the Class A Final Four after a wild win over MMI.

Homer-Center is the only public school left playing in the Class A playoffs. While they will play Dock Mennonite in one semifinal on Monday, District 6 champion Claysburg-Kimmel was knocked out of the tournament, 6-0 by Elk County Catholic, while Eden Christian Academy, which eliminated Homer-Center last year, advanced with a 6-1 win over West Middlesex.
