The Pennsylvania Insurance Department is encouraging state residents to review insurance coverage as we enter the summer months.
They ask that Pennsylvanians take the time to explore available insurance protections that are available through homeowners’ insurance policies along with travel insurance that will offer protection and avoid unnecessary financial hardship during vacations. Homeowners should also remember to:
- Contact their insurance company if they’re considering taking an extended vacation; and
- Consider purchasing a social host liability policy, which would cover claims that may arise from injuries that occur at home, prior to hosting a party or event.
