The Altoona Curve fell 9-1 to the Reading Fightin’ Phils.
Domenic Perachi returned to the Altoona starting rotation, but was touched for two runs in the first inning. Perachi struck out three in 2.1 innings before hitting his hard pitch limit of 47 pitches. Emmanuel Chapman followed him with 2.0 innings of one-run relief. Derek Berg recorded his 13th multi-hit game, racking up four hits on the night. The two teams will play again tonight with Peyton Stumbo on the mound.
