Bob Britt, a former guitarist of Bob Dylan’s live band, is addressing his recent exit.
On June 27th, the musician shared a message on social media saying “Sayonara Bobby.” He later deleted the post but has since issued his first direct statement on the matter. On Facebook, Britt said he’d like to clear things up and explained that he wasn’t fired, but that he left on his own accord for private reasons. Dylan played his first show without Britt on June 29th in Austin, Texas.
Britt was replaced by guitarist Joel Patterson.
