While Independence Day is officially tomorrow, many offices are closed today in observance of the holiday.
Federal, state and county government offices are closed for the day, including PennDOT drivers license centers and county courts. State liquor stores that are normally open today will be open their normal hours today, and will be open until 5:00 PM tomorrow.
Banks are closed for today, but will still offer service through ATMs, websites and apps. The US Postal Service will be open today and there will be regular mail delivery. Mail will not be delivered on Saturday.
