The Penguins are signing restricted free-agent Nick Robertson.
His agent says Robertson is entering a two-year contract with the team. The move allows the former Maple Leafs forward and Pittsburgh to avoid arbitration. The Pens acquired Robertson’s rights in a trade for a fourth-round draft pick earlier this month. The contract will carry a salary cap hit of $3.25 million.
