First responders were kept busy yesterday with multiple calls for service.
The first call came at 6:45 in the morning for an odor investigation somewhere on Red Bird Drive in Armstrong Township. Elderton and Indiana fire crews responded.
A vehicle fire was reported at 7:57 on Route 403 South in East Wheatfield Township. That sent out the Armagh/ East Wheatfield and Clyde fire departments.
A carbon monoxide alarm was also called in at 5:54 p.m. brought out the Indiana fire department to a location on Meadow Wood Road in West Wheatfield Township.
There were also three automatic fire alarm activations in White Township. The first was on Philadelphia Street at 1:29 p.m., with the second being on North 5th Street at 3:29 and the third on Saltsburg Avenue at 8:37.
