Police in Blairsville have charged a Crawford County woman with theft and other crimes for incidents in 2024.
Police say that 43-year-old Brandi Weister of Linesville had used the debit card of an elderly victim to make unauthorized purchases between August 1st and October 21st in 2024 without the victim’s knowledge. The total of the unauthorized transactions comes to $2,981.23.
Weister is charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition, access device fraud and financial exploitation of an older adult or care dependent person. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
