Wanda J. Frye, 66, of Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on April 13, 1960, to William and Nedra (Mottarn) Frye in Indiana.
Wanda was a former member of the Dixonville Moose. She got her BS in Marketing from IUP. She worked 10 years at Diamond Pharmacy. Wanda enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and numerous crafts. Wanda was a loving mother, Nana, daughter, sister and friend.
She is survived by her daughter Jozzie L. Strong and husband Greg, Indiana, three grandchildren, Derek Fairman, Jaidon Gaston, and Dylan Strong, two brothers William “Bill” Frye, Jr, (Gedi), SC, James Donald “Freddy” Frye, Creekside, and Special friend, Joe O’Brien, Commodore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Margaret “Peggy” Krajewski.
Friends will be received on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home., 898 Old Route 119, N. Indiana, PA 15701.
