A man who pleaded guilty to operating a meth lab will be sentenced today in Indiana County Court.
39-year-old Charles Edward Miller of Smicksburg will go before Senior Judge William Martin for his sentencing hearing this morning. He was initially charged with operating a meth lab, possession of a precursor substance with the intent to manufacture, possession with intent to deliver, disposal of chemical waste, and possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia for an incident that goes back to July 15th of 2020. On May 20th of this year, he entered a guilty plea to meth lab operation while the other charges were not prosecuted.
He faces similar charges for an incident on May 19th of this year. His formal arraignment at the county court level will be held on August 31st.
Judge Martin will also oversee a post-sentence motion hearing for Peter Paul Grabaskas of New Castle, who was found guilty in a non-jury trial to forgery and un-sworn falsification to authorities.
