Buddy Gardner, 53 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at his home.
He was the son of Delbert “Dee” and Linda (Long) Gardner, born June 26, 1973, in Indiana, PA.
Buddy was owner and operator of Buddy’s Auto Body for 28 years; he took great pride in specializing and customizing his work. He was also the owner of Gardner Hall in Commodore purchasing it in 2017, and he has been restoring and bringing it back to life ever since. Buddy’s passion was riding, building, restoring Harley’s, he enjoyed antiquing and helping anyone in need.
He is survived by his father, his wife, Cheryl (Hoy) Gardner, daughter, Meleigha (Zachary) Pearce of Rossiter, bonus daughter, Haley Brooks, Northern Cambria, granddaughter, Kinsley Pearce and coming in December, grandson, Liam Pearce, sisters, Shannon Henry, Courtney Gardner, Pine Flats, favorite aunt, Priscilla Barrett, mother-in-law, Joyce Hoy, Northern Cambria, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Debbie (Joe) Rorabaugh, LuAnn Rogerson (Billy), Rusty Hoy and wife Barb, his dog, Capone and multiple nieces and nephews.
Buddy was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Gardner and father-in-law, Russell Hoy.
Friends will be received on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer PA., Buddy’s funeral service will follow at 4 pm with Pastor Ray Hill, officiant. Interment will be private for the family.
