An Indiana man faces charges of simple assault, resisting arrest and others for a domestic incident reported by Indiana Borough Police on Tuesday. Officers were sent to a home in the 1300 block of Water Street at 10:45 PM to investigate the incident in progress and arrested Matthew Blake for allegedly assaulting a woman in the house. As police tried to take him into custody, he became disorderly and resisted arrest. Police said he was awaiting an arraignment hearing at Indiana County Jail. On top of what was already mentioned, Blake is also charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.
Indiana Borough Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash on Wayne Avenue from September 8th. Officers say that they heard of the hit-and-run at the drive-thru at McDonalds. A driver reported that the person behind him in line hit him with his vehicle. While the two spoke briefly about the crash, the suspect left without providing pertinent information. Police were later able to identify Kathleen Broskin of Home the suspect. A criminal complaint was filed against her accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle.
