The Penguins lost to the Colorado Avalanche 5-2 yesterday.
After building a 2-0 lead, the Pens gave up five unanswered goals, most of them coming in the second period. Evgeni Malkin and Bryan Rust each had a goal, and Sidney Crosby’s assist on Rust’s goal puts him 7th on the all-time assists list.
No rest for the road-weary as the Pens return to action tonight in Vegas against the Golden Knights. Airtime is 9:00 on U-92.5 FM with a 10:00 PM faceoff.
