Today is the last day to apply for a mail-in ballot for next week’s midterm election.
The application for the ballot must be in by 4:00 PM today at the Indiana County Voter Registration office at the Indiana County Courthouse. This goes for those needing an absentee ballot or a mail-in ballot. In order to get either ballot, you must be registered to vote.
Mail in ballots are due back to the county courthouse by 8:00 PM on Election Day. A ballot drop box is near the front door of the courthouse to allow people to turn in the ballot on time. Any ballot received after 8:00 PM on November 2nd, even if it is postmarked for earlier, will not count.
