In the early 1980’s Roseann Lubold (Ricupero) had a dream of starting a new business while continuing her family’s tradition of restaurant ventures in the Indiana area. In 1985 she fulfilled that dream, opening Roseann’s Everyday Gourmet, a combination bakery and cafeteria style eatery off of Route 286 in Indiana next to her parents’ Rustic Lodge banquet facility. Lubold died on Friday, April 1st. She was 92 years young.
In 37 years Roseann’s grew from four employees to more than 20 and the building underwent a couple of renovations and additions doubling in size to accommodate the growing inside and outside catering business.
The family has announced that the restaurant will be closed next week from April 4-8. The Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5th from 2-5 and 7-9 with funeral service Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic University Parish.
