Ahead of its drawing tonight, the PA Lottery announced this afternoon that the Powerball jackpot’s estimated annuity value has grown yet again.
The multi-state game will be drawn tonight, and it is offering an estimated annuity prize of $700 million or a one-time cash prize of $335.7 million. This marks the fifth-largest jackpot in the Powerball’s 30-year history and eighth-largest in U.S. lottery history.
The last time the Powerball jackpot was above $700 million was on January 20, 2021, when a ticket in Maryland won a jackpot prize of $731.1 million. The last time a Powerball jackpot was won in Pennsylvania was on August 3rd of this year.
Players can purchase Powerball tickets until 9:59 p.m. tonight. If there is no winner, the jackpot for Saturday’s drawing will have an estimated prize of $800 million, or $383.7 million cash.
A reminder that players must be 18 years of age or older to play with the PA Lottery.
