Emergency crews have been busy with several crashes across Indiana County on Friday and early this morning.
One of those crashes was on Route 110 in Rayne Township near Blue Spruce Road. State police say 46-year-old Nicole Filipovich of Home was driving her car on Route 110 at 7:27 AM when she crossed the double-yellow line and went off the road, hitting an embankment. Filipovich escaped injury. Police say she was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
A crash was also reported at 12:26 PM by Indiana County 911 on Route 259 in West Wheatfield Township. Clyde, Armagh and Bolivar fire departments were called out along with Citizens Ambulance. Initial reports said that this was near Germany Lutheran Cemetery Road and one person was trapped in the vehicle.
Another crash was reported in Burrell Township on Route 22 at Old Colony Road at 3:00 PM. Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were dispatched along with State Police and Citizens Ambulance. Black Lick fire crews reported no injuries in the two vehicle accident.
And this morning, Indiana Fire Crews and State Police were called out at 3:27 AM to Route 119 at the Wayne Avenue on-ramp as a car veered off the road and rolled over after hitting an embankment. Fire crews on scene said the driver, who was not identified, swerved to avoid hitting a deer and went off the road. No injuries were reported but the car took on moderate damage.
