PennDOT announced that starting on Monday, plans will be put on virtual display for a bridge replacement project in Young Township.
The project concerns the replacement of the existing structure of Rearick Road Bridge #1 that carries Rearick Road over Blacklegs Creek. The purpose of the plans display will be to share preliminary information on the project’s status, schedule, design, and right-of-way acquisition. PennDOT representatives, design consultants and others will be available to answer questions from the public.
Construction is anticipated for summer of 2024 with a detour to be put in place.
The virtual plans display is scheduled for November 7th to the 18th. You can access it starting on Monday at www.penndot.gov/district10, clicking on the public meetings link under the district links heading, then clicking on the Indiana County box, and then choosing the Rearick Road Bridge #1 Project tile.
