More information was released concerning a crash that happened in a shopping complex on Ben Franklin Road.
This was at the entrance to the Lowe’s Home Improvement Store on Wednesday. State police say that 79-year-old Eileen Slovinsky of Creekside was trying to turn right on the access road to the Lowe’s parking lot when her vehicle hit the traffic island. Slovinsky then lost control of the vehicle, causing it to speed up and hit the guard rail head-on, going through the guardrail and down an embankment, crashing into a Subaru Crosstrek legally parked in the parking lot.
Charges have not been filed in this incident.
