Indiana Borough Police have charged a student at the Indiana Senior High School with theft following an incident last Thursday.
Police say they responded to the school around 11:13 a.m. for reports of money being taken, and upon arrival, they discovered that an unnamed student had reached into another student’s backpack and took cash from their wallet. Surveillance footage aided police in identifying the student and they were charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
The student’s identity was not released due to their age.
