Indiana County first responders were called out for the 56th brush fire of the year yesterday.
That call came in from Green Township as a brush fire was reported along Grisemore Road at 3:27 PM. Both the Commodore and Clymer fire departments were dispatched at the time. No word yet on how much ground was burned in the incident or the cause of the brush fire.
Also on Tuesday, an automatic fire alarm was activated at 9:29 PM along Route 22 West in Burrell Township. Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were activated at the time.
