It was an active Friday afternoon for Indiana County’s first responders.
Two vehicle accidents were reported by Indiana County 911 on Friday. The first accident was reported at 1:23 PM along Creekside Road in Armstrong Township. Creekside and Elderton Fire Departments, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were called to the scene. 911 officials confirmed that the crash involved a motorcycle.
The other accident was at 3:19 PM along Route 422 West in Armstrong Township. Elderton fire department, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were initially called to the scene, while Creekside fire department was dispatched 25 minutes later to help with traffic control.
State police have not released details on either accident.
The Black Lick, Blairsville and Coral-Graceton fire departments were called out at 2:52 PM for an automatic fire alarm activation on Perfetti Lane in Burrell Township. And Brush Valley fire department was called out for utility lines that were down on Hummingbird Drive in Brush Valley Township at 10:29 PM.
