Both Pitt and Penn State yesterday announced start times for some more of this year’s schedule.
Pitt says the season opener against Wofford will be at 3:30 on September 2nd. The September 16th Backyard Brawl at West Virginia will be an ABC prime time game at 7:30, and the November 16th game against Boston College will be an ESPN Thursday Night game, kicking off at 7 o’clock. Pitt had already announced that the October 28th game at Notre Dame will be at 3:30 on NBC. There are still eight games on the schedule for which start times have not been announced.
Penn State’s September 9th game against Delaware at Beaver Stadium will kick at 3:30. The Big Ten opening game at Illinois on September 16th will begin at noon on FOX. The home game against UMass on October 14th is scheduled for 3:30 and the Whiteout Game against Iowa on September 23rd has been moved up a half-hour to a 7:30 kickoff, nationally televised on CBS.
