PennDOT has announced that a bridge replacement project in White Township is scheduled to get underway later this month.
The Ramsey Run Bridge project on East Pike Road will start July 17th and run through August 21st. During that time, East Pike between Ramsey Run Road and Stormer Road will be closed. Access to Ramsey Run Road will be maintained through construction.
PennDOT has suggested a detour around the project site. Motorists travelling on Ramsey Run Road will turn left onto East Pike Road, turn right onto State Route 286, turn right onto Airport Road, turn right onto Geesey Road and then turn left back onto East Pike Road.
The project costs $791,000 and crews from Plum Contracting in Greensburg will work on the bridge.
