Indiana School District students are back in class today.
This marks the final district in Indiana County to have students return to class. Many of the schools in the county along with ICTC have already returned to class. While many schools in the district were finishing cleanup efforts to get ready for the next school year, work continues on Eisenhower Elementary, which was damaged by fire in April of 2021. Since the, students that normally go to Eisenhower will attend class at the Junior High School complex. The project is currently out for bid, with bid documents due on September 6th.
Just a reminder for those in Indiana Borough and White Township, along with the surrounding area, that the buses will be out once again, and people are reminded that they must stop when the red lights on the bus start flashing, and the stop arm is extended.
